With the GOOD, comes the BAD
All modern-day ways of communication comes with a big way to make our lives more convenient. And along with the positive side of technology, there also comes a ton of ways people decide to change the focus of the technology for their own personal gains. Ways such as, posting inappropriate images and other things that aren't intended for all ages. For this journal, i shall be using email as an example.
Email; the digital and modernized way of sending a letter to people. Sending an email to another person makes writing letters to someone a thing of the past. It only takes a couple of minutes for the message to reach its destination and beats the time it takes for a letter to be sent and recieved. In short, it cuts down the amount of time to reconnect with a friend or to send an important message. Also, the major advantage of emailing online is managing to send someone as far as across the world without any need to pay and he/she would recieve it much faster than a letter via mail.
Even though sending email through the internet is convinient, the main purpose of it, sending letters through email rather than in an envelope, has become less and less used. With the invention of instant messaging, a better form of sending a digitalized message, sending messages via email has been obsolete. Now, sending email has been changed to sending advertisements, discounts and inappropriate images to every person that has access to sending email. Sending an email has become a thing of the past. Email had been a great breakthrough in technology but it has become obselete just as fast.

I love how you used the e-mail to demonstrate how the good comes with the bad. And yes, we all hate spam and those extremely annoying advertisements that we receive a billion times a day, filling up our inboxes! Regardless, I myself rely on e-mail a lot especially when I need to print something in school and I have saved the document at home. Might I point out that you have some spelling errors and grammatical errors within your post. I suggest that you copy and paste the entire post into Microsoft Word in order to check these errors in order to create a perfect one next time. All in all, I loved this post!

I don't believe email is becoming obsolete, maybe it is for our generation as we have time to go online and send messages on instant messengers like msn, yahoo and so on. But middle age working people like our parents might not necessarily have time to chat, instead they use email. I think you should make it clear that its become obsolete for us rather than everyone.

Hi Angelo, I agree with you that email is beng used more and more along with the comment that states emails are now being used as a form of advertising. However, I do not believe that mail has become obseltete yet. I find that this archaic form of communication is one of the few ways in to communicate with someone long distance without being tapped.
