What Makes YOU special?

Its mind boggling how far modern technology has improved. A great example of the modern technology would be this blog that I am currently using to write finish a unit for media arts . It seems ordinary to most of us, but this way of expressing words was probably unthinkable 25 years ago.

Our modern technology can predict the weather in the near future, using weather instruments. Although it is not always be accurate, it has been a pretty reliable and easier to plan your week. Now, IBM and National Geographic have launched the Genographic Project, to study and our past with the help of the technology we have now.

They are going to collect samples of human DNA, record them, and compare them with one another to determine if there are any patterns. Scientists believe that every human being can be traced back to Africa and that over the course around 60,000 years; humans have managed to migrate and populate the entire world. From this enormous project, we can find out the roots of our race and hopefully unlock secrets about the human race that we never knew before. DNA is unique so its different in each person but there are similarities that scientists will compare and find the migration patterns of humans.

I believe that this project will aid human beings in bringing everyone closer together. It'll show us that we are not as different as we thought we are. It will slowly eliminate the racism and stereotypes of our world. I truly believe that this project will do good for our whole race.
